Nah, I agree with Drace in this one, as in Drag needs to chill the **** down. I'm already coming less to this forum because there are less interesting and silly topics, and when a topic gets silly and interesting it gets locked.

If you want more discussion threads, you should make discussion threads and wait for people to follow your example. You can't just post empty threads which contribute nothing. That's called "spam".

Wrong. There has to be some order. There were something like 2 pages of pointless posts, I commented that people should get back on topic, the warning was ignored.

Everyone's complaining about how few mods there are around here currently. The ones who are left have to keep the place tidy.

A topic should be able to change, seriously. I mean, we were goofing off, so what the ****? Who cares? The original 'goal' had been reached (options for a solution) so that means we can go slighty of topic. Topics shouldn't remain on exactly the same thing for a million pages. I remember when it didn't matter when we got slightly off topic. When it didn't matter we went from bots to robots. It's not the same as changig the bots topic into a topic about umbrellas.

Also, Drag, lock the Chuck Norris thread then. Cause they're talking about Chicago Ted. Lock it, it's off topic. Lock every bloody thread that becomes good because people are having fun with each other. Make this into a forum for old fat bastards who complain about everything and don't want to have fun. DO IT.

No, that means the topic has no further purpose and off-topic posts after that are pointless. If you want an off-topic discussion, take it to PMs or Messenger. By your reasoning we may as well have no separate threads and boards, just one big imageboard where people can post whatever. Let's be 4chan.

There is a subtle and beautiful difference between me posting once in a thread which is at the top of the board immediately before I lock and junk it, and everyone posting heaps of crap into a bot thread, putting it on life-support at the top of the board for 12 hours when there are no mods around to step in and slap everyone about a bit.
