March 5 : 3rd math midterm this quarter.
March 8 : 'Practice' writing final that's getting graded anyway.
March 9 : Oh, that's nice of you, Chorus. Let's just throw a dress rehearsal into this week, too.
March 10 : A paper for my writing class is due.
March 11: And then we sing at some church I've never been to before.
March 12: CS project is due.
March 15 : Stupid writing final for stupids.
March 16 : Stupid math final for stupids.
March 17 : Cheap-Ass music final that's going to kill me because all the music sounds absolutely the same.
March 18 : Computer science final that I'm probably going to completely ace.

For my sanity, let us not discuss our class schedules.

They're not really called midterms, but more or less.

The real killer is Intro to Western Music class. I have to memorize about 20 songs, dates, and composers, along with all sorts of info about the structure and context of each song, as well as the life of the composer. In addition, I need to be able to write a paragraph about around 50 music history terms.

It's not easy, mostly because -- for people who have no experience with anything music-related -- you have no educational precedent. What I mean is...if you take a Biology class, you probably already have some basic knowledge of what a cell, protein, molecule, whatever is. Before I took this class, I had no clue what ritornello, organum, strophic form, or fugue were. It's all brand-new.
