There's been a hilarious argument about the beef surrounding Furry:

One side says, at base, that the Furry fandom only get's terrible when you enter the realm that is INSANE about it. The guys who go around, dress in fursuits, and draw goddamn porn. However, when you look through that veil of disturbing crap, there are some normal 'furries' out there; ones that just like to draw anthro characters in a non-sexual context. Completely platonic (Darkfox, you don't count. Put some more damn clothes on your characters. Agh). This side also likes to cite their theory by drawing classy animals in human situations and whatnot, as well as linking to high-grade comics with anthro characters. They can generally be seen as 'liberals' in this silly argument.

The other side says that it's all terrible, and asking why the hell the other side is acting so damn sympathetic towards furries on a forum that's practically built upon pointing at all internet subcultures and ripping them to shreds, furries included. This side likes to really satiricalize the bad side of furry fandom by drawing morbidly obese fursuiters and such.

I'm iffy about the whole fursuit-weird-*** crap stuff, but I see no problems in having people who just draw anthropomorphic animals. IN PLATONIC CONTEXT, FOR GOD SAKES, I definitely do not want to see porn this damn week. Otherwise, go wild... Just not like that. Shut up.

XD Well, I never show anything. A little rule I follow is keeping it clean. They are characters that will be in a game/story/comic. That and I have no interest in getting into THAT business. And my conscience wouldn't allow me. I stay within the realm of weird/cute so I try not to stray outside that.

It has been held in culture for a long-*** time to anthropomorphize animals in story and images so in itself is not unusual or weird. I see it this way as well. I see nothing wrong in it. Simple as that.

Hobo is just scared it'll deman him or something. Oh man up, grow some and keep a stiff upper lip, if it happens we ain't doing any lewd ****... or at least I hope not...
Otherwise, no need to fret, or are you saying this would be so much more awful than naked week...? Keh... the horrors...
