I'd be interested if there was any research that shows whether or not backmasking actually has any effect at all on people. I mean, people get all up in arms when they hear "satan" in a backwards song, but, seriously? Does the human mind have the capacity to subconciously flip the sounds it hears? It seems to me like it wouldn't.
