To easily defeat Dracula, equip Alucard's Shield and the Shield Rod, then press the buttons for both arms at the same time. Hold the button for the shield, and simply touch Dracula for a few seconds. This also works on anything that menaces you to the point of frustration.

This is true. You can also just fly up to the top of the screen in bat form, preferably with the bat familiar, while he's doing his claw attacks, and you can fireball him to buggery without being hit.

When playing as Richter, keep the Holy Water as your secondary weapon. The Hydro Storm item crash kills any boss in the game, excluding Galamoth who is optional, in a single crash.
