Noord Brabant then but Holland was never its own country its just another name for the netherlands because Holland also means Hollw Land, which is another name for the Netherlands because a long time ago they reclaimed much of its land from the sea and alot of it is below sea level.
Man I hope you are there during Queen's day its awesome.
Dude, come on. Don't try to beat me with your knowledge of the country I live in. I know better, trust me.Queen's Day was a month ago, so he's a bit late for that =P
Well my girlfriend lives here and she told me what to write so it wasn't my knowledge in the first place and I think she would know too.
Then she should get her facts straight.
And Holland is not a country, it's a section of the Netherlands, FYI, in case you didn't know.
Correction, Holland is a synonym for The Netherlands. Though your statement is, in fact, a correct one. Holland not only refers to the entire country, though few people use it nowadays, but it also refers to two counties of our country. To be more precise, Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland, which is north and south respectively. So you two are both right.
