PS2 is second best for Jrpgs. That is, if you put in the effort to find the good ones (FF died around the Squenix merger, which was around the release of the PS2)

The best Metroid came out on the SNES.
The best Zelda came out on the SNES.
The best DK's came out on the SNES. (Well, nearly all DK's did but anyway)
Some of the best FF's came out on the SNES.
Some of the best Mario games came out on the SNES.
Earthbound, Starfox and F-Zero all started on the SNES.
Chrono Trigger came out on the SNES.
I think there was a good Kirby on the SNES.
Etc.

Plus it's the console I grew up playing with.

I prefered SydLexia's top 100 SNES games. It was more interesting to read, cause it had like 5 people commenting on each game. And don't limit yourself to SNES just CAUSE ITS DA BEST. PS2 has some great RPGS if you dig through the FFs and shitty SRPGs.

I still laugh at people who say there is one console which is the greatest. Because honestly, none of them is the single greatest console.

And I still stand by what I said, owning the PSX copy is the same as the SNES copy. **** longer load times, it's the same ****ing bloody game which I still paid for and which still features the same story with the same events and the same characters and the same and the same and the same. Get where I'm going at Rahl? It IS the SAME bloody GAME. Now only read the capital letters. IS SAME GAME. Get it? If not, then you are stupider than I thought.

Now what ain't the same game, for example, are Resident Evil for PSX and Gamecube. Because those have major differences. But what is the same game, is like Fallout 3 for the 360 and PC. It's only a different port, it's still the original game with the same events characters etc etc. Now I typed this twice because apparently you don't understand a thing I type it once.

I understand. But owning FF3 for Snes and owning FF3 for the GBA are two diffrent feelings.
Its like me saying I own CT for the DS is the same as owning it for PSX or SNES.

As for this the only response I can give you is to take a chill pill, or cyanide it really doesnt matter to me. And no Im afraid they are not the same game because I happen to own both and the PS1 version actually has graphical cinematics that were by no means at all availiable in the SNES era, and were NOT in the SNES era, therfore they are not the same game.

And yes I am very stupid thanks for pointing it out.
