Parody genre, that's the one you're looking for. Was funny when it started, but it's really going down the drain. Meet the Spartans was horrible, Date Movie was horrible. Haven't seen Epic and Superhero Movie, but I think I know how bad they are.

Also, wasn't there a Disaster Movie? Ah well, whatever.

To actually answer the question this time, Must Love Dogs is the only movie to actually fill me with loathing. The plot is disgustingly formulaic, and worst of all, it seems to think it's the funniest, most clever damn thing around. And even worse, at the showing I went to, the entire theater was in stitches every time it let loose another lame joke. 30 minutes in, I already hated everyone around me.

I don't count Troll 2 even though it's awful, because it's actually fairly enjoyable to watch, and you can tell they're trying to be campy. But the acting is mind-blowingly bad.

Spawn is the only movie I've ever walked out of. Granted, I was like 11 at the time, and I didn't so much walk out as hide behind a seat at the back of the theater and wait for my mommy to come pick me up.

Nah dude, Im not even trolling you here...allthough it would be easy at this point.
Seriously, Nostalgia aside dude, its a special effects dinogasm. There wasnt much plot that couldnt be figured out by a ten year old after watchingthe first 25 minutes of the film, and i mean like, youre totally entitled to your opinion...but c'mon. Thats like picking Star wars, or like, The new star trek as your favorite. There is so much out there that is actually well written... I just...I thought you had more taste in that.

Hate to agree with people, but the * Movie series is SO BEYOND NOT FUNNY. (Except for Scary Movie 3, they did that right.)

I am a huge fan of the spoof genre, but what they did with that whole franchise is atrocious. Can't we just get back to the basics, like Airplane!, Mafia or hell, even KungPOW. Those movies were hilarious.
