All of a sudden not working...

Alright, so I'm messing around with my game and stuff, nothing too out of the ordinary. I'm playing through the game and one of my characters levels up. She reaches level 2. Now...when this character reaches level 2 she is supposed to learn 1 new skill. But instead she learns every single skill thats been coded for her. All at level 2! And when I double checked the common event (which I didn't even touch) all the skill were listed at *learn at level 3 or more, 5 or more, etc., etc.*
Can anybody tell me why this is happening? The only thing I changed before this started happening is when you encounter an enemy a party member is added to your group...and when the battle is over he leaves...I don't see how that could affect a common event involving another character but if anyone can make the connection or help out I'd appreciate it!!

Set character's level equal to variable
If variable is equal to 2, add skill Beatdown
Turn on switch LVL 2 Skill
IF switch LVL 2 Skill is on
Do nothing
I think it's something like that. I have a similar system in my game where skills upgrade as they grow, rather than having three different skills, and it uses a similar layout. I can post a screen if you'd like, if you think that'll help.

Double check all your events connected to this common event to make sure a variable isn't being tweaked the wrong way or a switch turned on or off in an undesirable way. I'm guessing the switches trigger toher events and maybe that you call events at some point. It could be something small. The only way to make sure this works fine would be to go through every possible situation and make sure in every instance the variables and switches come out the other end as they should.
Too bad rm2k/3 doesn't have a built debug system. As in: test run events just to see what the variables and switches would be when "such and such" was executed with "so and so" parameters.

From the sceen shot, the first branch checks if the variable "Hero Level" Is two, so make sure that the variable gets set to Rayne's level somewhere before that.
I'm guessing the varaible was left from another character's level or something. You should check to see if all those "Skil for" Common events there refer to seperate "Hero Level" variables. Otherwise it'll mess up, and think that she's the same level as another, probably higher level, character.
