ur mom goes 3 ways

jk, jk

Anyways, I personally think that the fourth dimension is what I used to think a black hole was...which is basically a hole that goes in a full 360 degree three axis.
So basically a hole in space time.

...
Wow, that was off topic.

And I don't think that Star Ocean 3 was four dimensional...seeing as the fourth dimension is impossible to represent in our puny three dimensional world...

Quote from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_dimension
[...]This fourth spatial dimension is a concept distinct from the time dimension in spacetime, since time is functionally very different from any of the spatial dimensions; formally, spacetime is not an Euclidean space but a Minkowski space.[...]
Time is not a spacial dimension, thus the fourth dimension is not time.

Actually the argument was made in "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells that we can TRAVEL in all four to some extent, traveling in time by memory. Upon the argument that we can't travel any further than this he commented that we couldn't travel the up/down dimension to the fullest extent until the invention of the hot air balloon.

.... I dont believe time is spatial either, but it was an interesting argument.

Time is considered to fourth dimension in spacetime, though.
I can't remember where I found it, but there was this awesome description that made sense of all that quantum theory junk.

And technically, both 2D and 3D games already exist in time/duration as they can update along that plane.

Which is actually energy, I think.
My science is kind of rusty.

Also, my apologies for derailing your topic >>

supasora derailed his own topic by suggesting a fourth dimension, then i secured the derailment by talking about it further i think.

Yeah, so true. I'd be on topic if I had a scanner.
