The thing about MSAP is, while a lot of the beginning is boring and slow, the later part contains some of the sickest animations I've ever seen and generally blow every other webcomic out of the water. But they only make sense in context - there's no real way to show someone a MSPA animation if they're not keeping up with the story and have it mean anything to them. So I'd strongly recommend you slog through all the nonsense at the beginning so you can reap the rewards later on.

After the first chapter it REALLY picks up.
Probably some of the best story telling I've seen in a webcomic.

Also, I haven't really checked much out besides Homestuck...are the others any good?

Problem Sleuth is Homestuck-ish in the sense that it takes a while to get rolling, though I found the beginning more entertaining. Also has very cool ending scenes.

The other two are just flat terrible though.

Yes, that was awesome.
Extremely.
Like, omfg that was awesome.

[spoiler=About todays comic]
Is it just me or does the supposed leader of the "dark" side look quite a bit like The Midnight Crew?

Oh just suck it up and force yourself through the first hour or so of comics. The payout is extremely worth it and you'll be able to join in!

It's a direct quote from the comic. Not a typo!

I've been reading them. They're intriguing. I don't feel like talking about them, though.
