So my computer got jacked up and I lost my database for ff6-2 some how, so I stoped using rpg maker for a while. I couldn't stay away though, now I have a Crystalis project I'm working on. I'm way better with the programming this time around though. I have a full CMS working with a custom battle system, a 6 frame movement with blinking system, a custom naming screen and a fully working HUD. The only issue im haveing is with the sword charge like the old crystalis game, I just cant get it to work, but I am working on getting help. I plan on adding a custom font to go with the custum menu box, I wish I still had my old final fantasy 6 font. The story is still in development I was waiting to see if I could get most of the systems to work first and I did. I want to keep that good old Crystalis feel, and make this a great game, it's well on it's way. I will be updateing this alot. Now heres some screens.
Starting area.
The CMS. I still need to make the spells for the bottom row and a few items.
Switched out I like this one better.
Attacking bird bad guy.
Leveling up as you can see by the stats. You can pick up the coin too lol.
Custom naming screen.

Damn, I love Crystalis. It has a big influence on my game as well.

Oh man, I rember this game! It was alot of fun and had a fair storyline for a game of that era. ^_^ I love the detial you've put into this, though I regret that FF6 2 is gojne, but meh, this looks more fun.

UPDATE 12/14/2009
Sword charge problem is fixed and im very happy
. Also have been ripping some CT chipsets and charsets so I can start the story. Found a few decent chipsets but most are unfinished and not too good. Will keep updating here are some screens of a level 1 wind sword charge.
Got it to work on enemies.
I know sword is cut off I need to fix, also need to add green charge balls like the old game. Enjoy!!!

Update 12/16/2009
I made a nice chipset for some towns, I mixed SD3 and Chrono Trigger Graphics doesn't look bad. I also used Chrono Trigger for the insides, I'm trying not to mix to many graphics together. I will keep updateing.

Looks good, my only issue is I was expecting more Crystalis style graphics. Other than that, looks good. Any news for when the demo will come out?

Thanks, Crystalis graphics were simple, I'm trying to make them a bit more detailed. The game play is whats going to give it that Crystalis feel, i've been working alot to make it that way. I'm working on the intro currently then I need to make the first couple quests. Also I want to add a hunt system with a hunt log like in Final Fantasy XII, and make a couple of those to go with the first couple quests. After that i'll release the demo for sure.
