New Year's Resolutions

Yeah, you just won't die from ageing. It is still great, though, as even at 1000 years old, you'd still feel like 20. On the inside, that is.
Or even then, that's how immortality is portrayed in movies or such. Maybe it would be different if anyone could actually obtain immortality in real life.
But still, immortality is sweet.
...or so I think.

Yeah, I think my resolution for this year should be to think less before (or usually instead of) acting.

There should actually be two different kinds of immortality.
One would be that you no longer suffer from diseases you get when you're old such as weak bones and lack of illness protection. That way you wouldn't die from age.

The other kind would be stopping the aging of your body. That way you would achieve pretty much the same effect. Only you look the same.

I'd rather look like an awesome old geezer with the health of a 20 year old then look like a 20 year old all my life.
That way I could scare the **** out of people by lifting them up and throwing them across the room.
Then getting into awesome katana fights.
Maybe pull out a crossbow or two.

If I had all the eternity to live, and I would keep aging, then I would learn martial arts. I would become the best fighter ever (since I would have all the time I want to practice). Then I would shave my head, grow a big beard, get black glasses, some porn, move to an island, and then start training little kids with tails so they could shoot energy beams through their hands.

I agree with number 2 but being immortal doens't exactly mean you won't age.
