I believe something related to the whole "target a pop star" thing happened recently (as fas as I can tell, some time in October) because some people (not sure who) thought that Rihanna's new song was satanic due to the line (this was all that was released at the time) "The wait is over".

They might also be targeting Gaga because there's been rumors (and pictures) floating around that she's really a hermaphrodite.

EDIT: Besides, it's Westboro, those guys are insane anyways.

That rumor is been around for a while and has been proven to be false.

They're going after Lady Gaga for publicity because of her huge popularity.
Especially since they go after her because of her "Songs and Fashion" or so they say.
Maybe they just don't like her because she use to be a stripper but still either way its all adds up to what they want
to flaunt how stupid they are and get publicity for it.

I feel sorry for any group of people, whether it's from a religion or an ethnicy, who aren't taken seriously or simply hated because of the minority of extremists who supposedly represent them.
