I've never been able to run Oblivion "well". I mean, I have a GeForce 9800 GT that runs pretty much everything beautifully (TF2 exempt for some reason), and I still need to hold back when I set the graphics for Oblivion. Damn game has the worst optimization.

WoW is intensive, lots of stuff going on at once.

And Bethesda is lazy as all hell when it comes to programming.
The fact that there's literally a couple hundred scripts running at once would seem to me to be a bad choice.
Also, their method for deleting objects is to...not delete them, but just stop showing them.

I really didn't have a problem cranking up the settings in oblivion *shrug*
 maybe the version? also I'm working on a quad core, 8gb ram would that effect it?

I loved Spore, and I would have played it a lot more if it didn't freeze up randomly on me even with everything on 'lowest' and reinstalling.

I've got 1gb as well... and an AWESOME 1.67ghz whatever PC thing.
Yeah, my PC sucks. But you know...
No job = No money
No money = Can't buy better computer parts
Can't buy computer parts = Me stuck with a computer that sucks

Me sad = No motivation
No motivation = No job
And it all starts back. Life sure is hard.
