Well, pepper spray is temporary while a gun can make it permanent.

Well, you can also shoot people in the feet if you don't need to protect your life right off, it disables them. Stubbing a toe can disable a person for a while, bullet in the foot would definitely work.

If they get infected or the bleeding doesn't stop, or if they have a heart attack, sure. Though on the last one if they have a weak heart they shouldn't be attacking people in the first place, so their fault.

It's called a magazine. Sometimes referred to as a "mag". Often erroneously confused with a clip.

Anyways, it's possible that your friend only hit one out of a mag. You'd be surprised at how bad a shot people can be.

I'm the inverse, usually I get less shaky and focus more, though I get tunnel vision sometimes.
