I think we may secretly be the same person. And trust me, I have a lot of people tell me I look like my mother. It's so bad that someone once came up to me at a wedding and said, "Wow, Carol, you've aged well!" and was actually surprised when I told her I wasn't my mom. I really hope I don't look that much like her. -_-

My family never really had those. Now, I don't have much of an extended family left. Everyone on my dad's side keeps dying, and everyone on my mom's side is distanced and hate us ever since my grandma died.

It's pretty much my immediate family, an uncle, an aunt (through marriage), and one cousin, so a family reunion is more like two families driving to a third one's house. It's more like a visit at that point.

Our family is weird. We have family reunions, but not many people go to them. That's because we kind of get together in clusters - for me, it's myself, my brother, my grandma, mom, my aunt, and my grandfather's niece (I'm not sure what relation she has to me, then. The whole "cousins x times removed thing always confused me.) Those are literally the only members of my family I know. I know almost no one on my Dad's side. So yeah...I know I have cousins, but I don't even know their names. I've only been to a family reunion once.

It's not so much that I hate hugs that I hate people who randomly hug me (coworkers and such). I'm not a very touchy-feely person except with those whom I have very close relationships with. I don't think I've ever initiated a hug in my life except aside from with my ex-boyfriend. Most of the time, people just hug me randomly. While I don't exactly resent that they want to hug me, I'm very sensitive about my personal space and hugs are a definite violation of my personal bubble.

I never really hug people, but I love being hugged. I think it's because I feel hated by everyone around me. Some physical contact that shows real appreciation makes me feel good.

Archem I'd say that 2 families driving to a third family is crowded enough for it not just being a visit.

And hugging is... Something you don't want to do with everyone. Like, when school is over you can hug your teachers a thanks for those 4 years they put up with us. Or like, visiting them old folks. Cousins might get hugged as well or your girlfriend's friends. Girls like to hug for some reason.
Ah, old friends as well if you were close. Otherwise a handshake will do just fine. Or a hi five.

I don't like long commercials while watching something you've been looking forward to watch. Although movies without any commercials is a danger to your health. When the credits roll you realize that you haven't eaten, drunk or visited the bathroom in 5 hours or so.
