Which is great. Saw some of the things they are working on. Seem interesting. Can't wait to try. I just hope it won't end up being another nice looking emptiness...

Considering all the monsters, I can't actually agree with it being empty. I know what you're trying to say, but with all that, it's hard to feel that emptiness for me.

You're lucky. I barely found anything living in the Stronghold. I was really disappointed. And the treasures weren't all that great either.

Minecraft really need interesting and fun accessories like Terraria. Something like double-jump or whatever. And maybe some "random events".
I guess the zombie attack on town isn't too bad, but... I just don't find it all that great. It's just zombies spawning in the village being very annoying by hitting the doors and all. Things like the Herobrine while exploring the Stronghold would be pretty nice. And "unique" enemies, which can drop accessories or whatever. Or just finding miners in abandoned shaft. Or finding imprisoned villagers in Stronghold cells, who go back to your village and have something "unique" to them (ex: can heal you, sell you different stuff, etc.).

Or what about a mummy in the desert temple? Or some... whatever creature in the jungle temple? I'm not really sure what they plan on doing with those, but from what I've read... it'll be empty, safe for traps and chests. It's fun, but... I don't know. And I bet the treasures also won't be all THAT interesting.

Yeah, I'm ranting quite a bit. I'll wait and see, I guess. I'll rant when it's out.

Agreed, but I know that a number of Terraria's elements wouldn't make the jump. Some of them simply can't work outside of a 2D environment.

So, like, mods and ****.

Meh, somehow, I don't have much interest in Mods. Maybe I should give it a try anyway, though...

And yeah, some things may not work fairly well, but many would. Like bosses and accessories, or "unique" NPC's.

The Aether is a crazy, crazy mod I saw. It has accessories, capes, bosses, new sky dungeons, controllable mounts, new pets, new ore, legendary/uninque weapons. Thors Hammer, Thunder Daggers, Valkarye Lance.

Minecraft lacks that kind of "oomph" that Terraria has. By that, I mean the combat seems much more refined on Terraria, while Minecraft
has more replayability. I honestly don't think a mod could add that to Minecraft, purely down to how collisions, the engine, etc, all work.
I combination of the two games would be EFFING fantagasmic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get to Aether. Get a Phyyg, fly to temple, loot the hell out of it.
simple as that. It's like playing minecraft for the first time. You have to spend a long time to get everything.

There was so much to do that I didn't know where to start.

Also, the temple didn't work right and was hella confusing.

You'll have to get an older version of minecraft to play it. I think it's worth it in some cases.



Oh. on a different note I am working on a dungeon/puzzle map using the adventure mode. >:3
It's challenging, and difficult. <3
