Any reason you went with opaque leaves on trees? It looks so ugly. I think that's one place where deviating from the theme might have been good (you know, just have the darkest greens transparent).

Opaque/Transparent is a setting. I play on fast graphics, if you want the leaves to be transparent just switch to fancy mode. I'll take screenshots for demonstration.

I would prefer that. It seems like it would be something one would do when taking screenshots for the purpose of showing off a custom texture pack, but what do I know?

It's basically a promotional thing for Far Cry 3 that has the entire island (plus Easter eggs) built in Minecraft, and it comes with a 1.4-ready texture pack. It's pretty cool.

A friend/texture pack reviewer on minecraft has a current remake of the Castlevania Castle. Using a texture pack that looks just like the old nes games.
