So, I'm unsure how I can animate that, I'm not the best at such.

Look at the water for reference. One of the water types is very lava-like.

the water texture and lava texture's do not look alike, at all D:
you can even see the lava, compared to the water, in the picture <3

Of course they don't, one is water, the other is lava!
Just study the movement.

And if it does you will do it over and over until it's epic and worth of RPG MAKER 2003.

As it stands right now. It is worth RPG Maker 2k3, because RPG maker lava doesn't move.

just tried making the lava move. Nope, I give up. I'm no good at that type of thing.

Not needed, just install Optifine. It'll be better off anyways.
