Why do you even come back if you dislike us so much? You're Kairou, right? I mean, you said many times we were "the worst community" and such. Why do you stay?

I'm still confused as to what he means by "with the programs you don't have any ability to use"

He does realize that I'm an experienced GM programmer and know Python, right?

Is he REALLY? I don't remember Kairou being this much of a tool.

That reason is why I've never published a game, because I fell for it too.
The reason why I've never published a game is because the very first thing I tried to do was a gigantic ****ing RPG with tons of continents races and characters and got overwhelmed.

****, I'm starting to regret getting in this argument.

What's wrong with us still conversing, even when we've outgrown the original reason for the forums? We enjoy the community, so we stay. We aren't inept when it comes to making games with the maker, but most of us have lost the passion, patience, or free time to actually complete a project. We don't need someone to come here, stir up ****, and act as though we have no right to continue on the way we have been for years.

Please be civil or leave. By choice or by force, your nonsense will come to a stop.

honestly why is this place even still up

I can't believe we've let you live as long as you have. We're well over due for a witch hunt and I rather enjoy public hangings. You can make a killing soliciting pop-corn./sarcasm

Why are you even interested in making a Charas MMO if you dislike charas so much?

Maybe a bit much there, Dren. Fuel on the fire and all that. Doesn't help when I'm trying to keep things under control.

Archem, you've got potentially to be a pretty decent admin here, but the fatal flaw is mentioning that you're trying to keep things under control in public. ;)

Dude, have you seen the Crappy Game threads? They may not be very long, but we actually do complete games here - and we have fun doing it, too.

...What the...?  I don't even...

Basically, the idea is nice.  Hey, if there are people that have the time to do it, that's great!  The idea of using a charas-generator like system is great too.  Is it something that we would be interested in seeing?  Sure.  Who will be playing it?  Who knows.  With the basic animations it would have, it probably wouldn't be too popular, but it be a way to get people interested in RPG Maker.  Even Fruck had said he would look into it.  And he did.  Isn't he nice?

Unfortunately, the number of people who know how to do a programming language appropriate for this sort of game is very minimal on charas, or even the knowledge of how to use a program for MMOs.  Eclipse and XtremeWorlds are two of these programs.  They aren't too bad, but getting the system for a charas-generator like character creation will take a lot of time and effort.  Now, charas isn't the most bustling place for games on the internet, but there are a few things going around.  Every has a project.  Even if they haven't made it public.  Its just the age group on the forums is mostly college age students.  College students are usually busy and barely have time to relax let alone make a game.  Hey, I'm one of them.  I haven't been able to touch RPG Maker in a few months because of my schedule.

Before you can say anything about the forum take in consideration the other factors on why we are the way we are.  This forum has been a home of the internet for a lot of us, and when someone says anything bad about it, we make a big deal about it.  I've only been here for about 4 1/2 years, and I love this place.  As much as I don't get to be on here too much, I know I can come back here and find Archem up to his antics or a Warxe joke being tossed around.  Charas is still a game-making forum.  That will never change.  We all have used RPG Maker to a point when that new poster comes here and asks a question, we usually can answer it.  Hey, we might not get around to using our knowledge for ourselves, but we do spread it to others.

<3 Charas

/end long winded response

I agree with Archem 1000%.  Just sayin'

So let me get this right. You come on here saying you want to build an mmorpg using charas people in it, but you can't do it yourself or are asking for the entire community to help out with such a large scale project that would take years to make? Dude, I don't even know who you are let alone would I stop doing everything I am personally working on just to make something like that.  To be a leader you have to first prove yourself and bring some inspiration to the community.  Once you develop a name for yourself and get some respect than you might have a better chance at making something like that with the folks here on this forum.
