Massive earthquakes would strike, he said. Believers would ascend to heaven and the rest would be left to wander a godforsaken planet until Oct. 21, when Camping promised a fiery end to the world.

2011 has been his apocalyptic date since 1993, as well.

He declared that Saturday was a "spiritual" judgement, and Oct. is when **** is REALLY going to hit the fan.

Well, technically, he already stated that there would be a part 2 of sorts in October before this happened, so it's less of an amendment and more of a second half that everyone forgot about.

However, he's moved the date of the rapture itself to coincide with the "The world shall end in hellfire" apocalypse that we all know and love.
Which he said was happening Oct. 21.
Hence why I said moved.
Because he did.

Still though, the dude's been wrong three times.
I'm surprised people still listen to him.
