You encounter a pair of mesmers with your friend. What does this mean?

No but seriously it's a nightmare. PVP is pretty fun though, I was having a bit of the old VOIP funtimes with three friends as we played hours of PVP. Oftentimes not being on the same team, which would usually be brutal.
Shame that there's only 3 maps for that particular mode, I'm hoping there will be more maps or are in the other modes?

Have yet to visit pvp stuff. I'm feeling like such a glasscannon.

Kinda scraping together money to get gems so that I can unlock an extra character slot. It would be sweet to have more characters to play on. Also want to get a larger bank, that one is filled with stuff already. Cool items I'm gonna transmute my gear into, chests, some of those exp boost items, gems and runes for inscriptions, yeah you get it.

The dosh comes in a lot easier at higher levels. I 100%'d Blazeridge Stepps (40-50 zone) and I got a lot of cash from that. I'd say a gold but it's hard to tell exactly how much.
Mind you gems are still bloody expensive, though cheaper than they were. I've spent 800? on expanding my one character's inventory. I really need to save up for the bank though.

Think the inventory is 500 and the bank is 600, I'm saving up 800 for the character slot. World transfer will cost something around 500 later as well.
I bought like 360gems for 1 gold. Seemed like a fair deal. Almost there.

But I find it odd that people don't want to buy stuff from the trading post and all. I got far too much ore and leathers and such. Around like 200 bronze bars at one point. Put them up for 50% more than I'd get for selling it to the vendor and still no one bought it.
And selling stuff by sending it through a mail to someone isn't exactly safe. You just have to rely on that person actually giving you the money. No trading window is pretty odd.

Currently at 29. My crafts are around 60-80

The trick to the tp is selling rare stuff just a tini bit above lowest price. I amde sooo much money off farming vials of blood for 2 hours. Like 2 gold. Spent all on upper gear.

Just a shame the TP is down all the time.

Also kinda sad or something of the kind that I can't simply join someone else playing their story missions and get rewards for it. I can participate but be nothing more than a Sidekick. Can't activate things, can't speak to people and no rewards or quest updates will reach me.

I had like 214 or something like that. Yesterday i made another gold selling stuff that didn't sell on tp to the npc. I was surprised. I needed money for the trait book tier 2. Now I am broke.

So I just hit 30 and I bought another character slot.
Anyone knows if there's a cap to those character slots?

Also, professions gives a lot of exp. Finally got my artificer and tailor to 75 which allowed me to use all of my soft wood and iron ore I've collected.
Had the collection tab full with both of them, 250 in each. It gave me a lot of levels and a lot of exp. Glorious.

Wow, I bet you all are stuck in the game or something. I can't be the only person who have something to say about the game.

Just passed 40 with my elementalist, got two additional character slots, a guild with a guild bank and like I donno 11 members. Still no PvP for me though.
Engineer - not my type of class.
Warrior - love the 2handed weapon skills.
Elementalist - just a huge pile of love.
Ranger - fantastic skills on many good weapons. Shortbow for bleeding and poison damage, greatswords and longbows for direct "oh **** my butt hurts"-damage.
Guardian - interesting class that I need to spend more hours on.
Thief - loving them more and more, mobile, good damage and all that. Just had to revisit what stats I went for. Glasscannons don't do well in these types of games. Need more toughness and vitality.

Level 80 now. Raising an engineer char. It seems kinda fun but the skills are wonky.


And I told you those damn thieves don't stop moving!
