Dimensions 2: The Dimension Nebula

Dimensions 2 is an RPG (obviously) that brings together different video game characters and some TV show characters (though they'll most likely be humans if they're not already since its hard to get requests done) together in an all-out war against an army of monsters lead by one being, bent on annihilating every dimension/world and ruling over the survivors in the eternal black hole known as the Dimension Nebula....okay, that's just a general storyline. Look at this video showing the current progress to get more of an idea.
100TH VIDEO SPECIAL!!!....sorta. (FAIL GAY TONYS, CRAZY PEOPLE, MONOTONE VOICES, RPGS, AND MORE!)
(skip to 20:33 for game footage)
Now, if you watched the progress, you'll realize something right off the bat. The game is kinda amateurish. I am VERY bad at animation and mapping. ESPECIALLY mapping. Another thing you might notice is some of the graphics may have been taken from this site. I don't know if that's a super-bad thing or not, but sorry if it is.
I need any kind of help as is possible if this game is to become a little bit playable. Right now, I realize so far that you can pretty much go through the entire game with the battle mode set to Auto, which gets boring and some parts are just annoying. I'm not 100% sure on how to fix these problems, so that's another thing i need help with.
I have begun to use a FaceMaker software, so the face graphics for the main characters and their friends, including their foes like the prince, have all been changed. (they still have holes in their teeth and such, but that's just an issue with the face maker) I began to use CharasEX to make charsets, but i noticed no matter what I do, I can't add the charsets into the game without giving them a big white (or whatever color) box around them. If anyone knows the solution to this problem, or if someone's already found a solution, please let me know.
Here's another video that shows screenshots of the earlier version of the game
Dimensions 2 Screenshots
(which was scrapped because I didn't understand switches or variables at the time, there were tons of bugs, and it was just poorly made.)
Hope I can get some help with this. I actually have always considered this a community-made game, but that just goes by the fact that I take requests for characters to be in the game.
