Hey guys!
Bad news for me today. After 6 years of loyal services, and 3 days of randomly freezing for seconds, my MacBook died yesterday and is impossible to reboot or anything. I've tried many of the solutions to those problems suggested by Apple, without any luck. This means I am unable to finish my chapter of the chain game. Customer services will need about two weeks to see what they can do, but it seems more than likely that I'll have to buy a new computer. Unfortunately, the Mac died during a backup, which fucked up my backing hard drive as well, making it unusable. I can still provide plot and design ideas I had for my chapter but that's about it I hope either the Mac will be replaced or fixed (cheaper) by the end of the month, but until then I am afraid I can't do anything This comes even more as a hard hit as I need the computer much for work use (guess I'll have to use one of the shitty Ubuntu ones that Uni has...) And that I don't have much money for a new laptop atm...

Noooooo! I'm so sorry for ya, Donut! It sucks to have your computer blow up and take your chapter with it. =/ A terrible first Chain Game experience but hey it could be worse! You could be like me and kill one by taking too long with your chapter till there's nobody to take it. ^_^; Looks like it's up to me then! I'll just need to get to a wi-fi source, buy ME:3 and NOT PLAY IT!! XD At least till I'm done codding a chapter so good it will be heralded and envied!

....Or at least not contain a fifteen minute crawl that has very little to do with the game. <.<

After Fish would be fine. Support was faster than expected to tell me the computer was definitively dead (I'll get it back to harvest usable components for one of my friends), and I ordered a new one (Lenovo Yoga 510, better than my macbook pro - not too expensive so that I could afford it) which should arrive in the upcoming weeks.

Okay so I played through and I freaking loved it! ^_^ Just got to wait till Donut responds with what he did before I decide to proceed but I'm drawing up alternate scenarios while I wait and tweaking the skills as there were none for the heroes and I'm actually pretty decent at that. Tomorrow I'll do some real work though hopefully!

Well it was doing freaking awesome till Steam locked me out of my RPG maker 2003!! XO Ohhh I am angry! All I did was buy like five games today and now it won't unlock my Steam 2003....Yet I can play Skyrim or anything else....just not 2003. -.- Gonna try to get to the library ASAP and Red will get a backup copy.

It locked me out....I'm not even sure. Sometimes it does freeze which is what I thought this was. Just a freeze cause I could get in but none of my icons but Skyrim would work. It's weird. I request an additional two days past my deadline even though I likely won't need them. I was just writing the last two cut scenes there likely were to be needed. Honestly my hard codding is down to one mini game, a few keys to open the last dungeon door and monsters. My final boss is done and I've play tested to balance it even. Managed to beat it on level 7 with all the right gear.

That's fine. Like I said I'll go to a wi-fi source and try DLing the stuff I bought and see if that unlocks it since it was working fine until I bought some games on the Steam Sale so logically that has to be it. XD I'm not too worried ....unless this fails....Then I'll just send it on and mark the game as cursed o.o; One weird incident? Coincidence. Two? That's a curse.

Oh I have a reason for not letting much get me down. Life steps on me and I push...FORCE PUSH!

*Force Leaps up with his eyes closed and tackles the big, metallic beastie that is Steam slicing it to ribbons and taking the game back and holding it aloft screaming primaly as an image of Devon, Jack and Juno appear behind me lifting their various over sized and over powered weapons up joining in. Past Chain Game villains sigh and go back to the drawing board...*

 It's working again and I got a better idea for my puzzle now that will make it even more infuriating. =D So it's off to work I go...and something about ho's!

Well that's sad but unavoidable. I'm sure you'll get to work soon...just don't pull a Fisherson like he did when he kept the game and never really did anything....till the desire to work on it died. *Shudders* Haunts me allot to this day. It's why I tried to do shorter chapter this go around.
