Well, maybe I assumed too fast that some of those strange things that came out of nowhere were references to previous games and private jokes, but since the game has a lot of surreal humor it could just be that. For example I remember the sidekick saying to the protagonist that a guy fought some wizards or something years ago in this part of the city, so I imagined it was what the player did in an older game. But whatever it was, it doesn't prevent from following the game, so it's all good.
XD Oh so you never got the "bad end" of the game huh? The Wizard is tied into the lore of the game and in fact you likely met him as an Easter egg but never knew. Only way to find out is to get the Bad End out of the game's like eight or so alternate endings.
Yeah that was more lore to why the town has an arcane filled alley. A nice touch by Momeka which later developed into something. He didn't finish the game.
I like this game but I need to know something about the end. Did Shanon Lutz really commit suicide at the end of the game's 'good' ending??
Well, I was in one of my more morbid streaks after reading too much Lovecraft when making that ending. So much death. I can't really remember but I think I phrased it as "She will join him when the stars align" or something like that, so it's entirely up to personal interpretation.
Alright. Thank you for explaining and thank your team for making this game. It was better than the other one for sure.
>__O *Gets his triggered meme** What?! -.- You are not telling me you hated Juno's Odyssey. Even I am not happy with the way it came out sometimes, but I'm an anal and very OCD game maker. It was a wonderful game I've been told by many! What could you possibly have to complain about?
Hated it? No I wouldn't go that far. It wasn't bad it was just not as fun or as well written. I liked Neza and her brother Billy though.
Do NOT say it wasn't well written. >.< In chain game you can't judge the writing the same as other games because it has a team. Usually the story is quite random. Wrath of Gaia broke the habbit a tiny bit and Juno certainly did! It's true we did sort of just have fun not really developing a plot until the end but in the game's defense? That's what makes it so fun for even I, the guy who dreamed it up, to replay. Also it's not a complete story as it does have a sequel chapter coming out one day soon that probably won't be a chain game as sad as that is.But all that aside, you little punk, never tell another person their game isn't well written. If you don't get it that's fine but you should always try to make people smile and think they've done a good job as we put YEARS into RPG maker games some of us, even the ones who don't market their stuff, and we literally bleed and sweat to make it a reality. Juno wasn't much when I began it it's true but Purps, Dren, Red and I put alot of work into it and made it go from laughable screenplay to actually one of the top ten experiences of my life I'm proud to say!Oh and PS: If you don't have a project not allot of people will take your comments seriously. So you think m-No OUR story wasn't all it was cracked up to be? Then show me how it's done son! I welcome the experience to learn how to write better.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed you.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed that welcome.
Feel free to ignore Fish, he's just passionate : ) Thanks for playing the chain games, and all feedback is welcome ; ) The writing certainly suffers in these chain games as no-one particularly knows which direction we're going in, so when you inherit a character you just have to do the best you can : p
