BOOYA! I'm all hyped up now! lol.. but too bad my hype will be forced to end. hehe.. well, i won't be an important factor in this.. i think but anyways i'll fill ya in later on why i'm always saying i'm can't do much.. no, i'm not dying! hahahaha

anyways, until march eh.. i'll make a schedule.. trust me, and it will be VERY effective. Alex, can you make a private forums for now? maybe 2.. 1 for discussion and 1 for enrollment.. lol.. i'll post the schedule there. it WILL work even if we have just one person in each department.. lol.. maybe at least 3 in the graphics department =P

so it's.. 1 *may*, 2 *june*, 3 *july*, 4 *august*, 5 *September*, 6 *Octombre*, 7 *Novembre*, 8 *Decembre*, 9 *javier*(ok, why am i doing this in french? oh well.. hope my french teacher sees this.. lol), 10 *fevrier* et 11 *mars*

so that's 11 months.. we.. erm.. you (i'll tell you later why.. hopefully it'll be "we" again ) should have a month to discuss and a month and a half to 2 months to re-check everything. last 2 weeks is the beta-testing period and the last 3 days is the packing of all this and that.. hehe.. so that leaves 8 months of resource making. maybe a few weeks longer if the discussion was quicker.

ok, how would you want this game to be like? would it be an Area-Focused game (like suikoden) or World (Final Fantasy) based? timeline? epic? heroic? etc

i vote for.. Area-Focused + Epic + Victorian

anyone who wants to object, do so.. but here are my reasons why i chose those

Area Focused:
-Saves Time
-Chipsets would have to be more similar, giving the chipset maker less work (chipsets are really hard to make if ya ask me)
-Charsets would also be pretty "One-Based". Civilian Charsets' styles will be similar.

Epic:
-More interesting IMO
-Plot Twists

Victorian:
-Swords, Shields and Arrows RULE! I mean look.. futuristic.. bleh.. Lazer Swords.. Plasma Shields.. etc etc.. zzzzz

well seeing how im working with story i have decided to creat polls and have votes on time era and stuff like that

but i also thought to my self what most rpg's have and i want to try and minimal common things in rpg's like......

-hero falling in love with girl (see this to many times and its boring)

-villan wants world controll (againg another common boring subject)

-Hero never fails (we could keep this but mabey we could add a few twist like he is actually ben the evil one this whole time)

these are things i see alot in rpgs that bore me and sure it bores others

what we need are twist and turns and unexpected things (like hero is acctually the bad guy in the end or instead of world power the villan wanted a borito (well not that stupid ) but u get what im saying)

oh and who else is working on story line cuz i would like to contact them so we can get things all together

im already working on storys right now so we get a head start but i wont submit anything till it begings

Nononono.... what we need is a very interactive game... multiple endings, character selection etc. Basically anything that will give the player reason to re-play.

hahaha relax! a female character.. interesting.. but if we plan to make her a hero in heroic then she must be this tough yiddy yaddish chick who sooner or later falls in love with a certain someone...

and yes! that's a really good idea! so it's like.. if we make a game based on suikoden.. as in a lot of people, then you have to choose between 2 characters. 1 character has this story and that character has that story.. nice one!

twins.. nah.. lol.. not good.. one goes to the opposing side if it's a war kind of story. pretty predictable.. and if the twin is gonna stay on your side, zzz.. lol.. but hey, we'll think of something.. don't focus on the hero just yet.. focus on the story first.

let's make this a Suikoden Type thing? who's up to it?

Whaddabout a game where you get to pick your first character, but the rest can only be found by decision making. That way, you can't easily pick all your favourite characters.

We need a secret dungeon, too. I was thinking it could be like the secret dungeon in Star Ocean 2; it has 13 floors, and each floor has a puzzle and and boss, and lots of treasure. I could help think of more ideas for this.

And yes, multiple endings is a must!  

And about the timeline, IMO it shouldn't be Medievil with kings and stuff; it's way overdone.

However, there's a problem: No admin. The admin of GameFAQs runs the entire site, and if someone contacts him about the contest, he won't care, mainly because RM2k is illegal. So I guess the only way for them to sign up is if the majority of the people want to participate.
