the games good so far (although I've only reached the earth temple), btw, in the temple basement, u know that you had that shadow picture thing I noticed the game lagged, heres how to fix that:
at the parralel process that you used to show the picture, after "show picture" put an "erase event"
EDIT: the musics gr8!!! it all fits the moment, and generally sounds good!
you could add some clouds to liven up the world map though...

hm... that erase event thing sounds good, and I've been tryign to figured out ways to make the world map more alive, but it's so HUGE it lags.
BTW: how long did it take to get to the Earth Temple?

Ok... I've been thinking about this whole, livening up of the world map, and I'm thinking it'd be kewl to have the weather change depending on where you are on the world map. sound good?
Here's an idea of how it could work.
It'd be controlled by a common Event, two variables, and a flag. The two variable will be X Co. and Y Co. constantly checknig the character (X,Y) Coordinates on the map. The Flag would tell the commont Event that the character is on the map based on whether the flag is ON or OFF. When this common event is in play, I'll have a few Branches which will decide, based on the coordinates, what weather effect to display.
How does that sound? any better ideas?
BTW: srry for double posting

Ehh..... It sounds like a good idea, but only if you have a way to turn it on and off at different times. I mean, it'd seem a little strange if it always rained somewhere...

hm... true...
but places like deserts(sandstorm), arctic(snow), wouldn't seem abnormal... maybe i should just leave it. I'm not too enthusiastic about it anyways... I'll put like, an odd seagull in their every now and then! haha

I'm downloading it right now
The only thing I have to say by looking at the screenies on your site is that you should probably make a better "map" picture. Having everything one color dosen't look to good. Heres a way how you can make a map really easily
First you go to the map (in rm2k3) where you want to make your picture of. Zoom out to 1/8, and select either the upper or lower edit boxes (just not the events). Then click the editing option "select map elaments", this will make the upper and lower level tiles appear to be on the same layer. Then just take a screenshot, past it in paint, and remove everything but the map.
Then you can simply resize it, and you have a good map you can use as a picture
If its too big to fit in one screenshot, take multiple ones and 'put them together' in paint.
Anyway I'm looking forward to playing your game

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
