I'm probably going to be murdered for this, but I prefer new Nightwish to old. <<

Also, Opeth is not a bad choice. I'm going to listen to Windowpane right now.The only song I liked on that entire album.
Not in Australia, apparently.

No heaven - DJ Champion, it's the song playing in the credits of borderlands.
High and a winner, got a hot hand! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-WZhmBhtOc)Uh, I can I change my answer?
I'm pretty sad they didn't include "Ballad of the Wind Fish" in Brawl. This song is just so great. And Tal Tal Height would've been way better if it wasn't mixed with the Overworld theme.
Now why were only the sucky songs from that game in brawl?Don't forget how they spoil one of the most significant plot points in Mother 3. Anyway, a lot of Mother 3's music erm, "borrows" melodies from other songs, which is perfectly fine because of Japan's wonky copyright laws. That could be a contributing factor.
Don't forget how they spoil one of the most significant plot points in Mother 3.
They did? Are you talking about the Pokey boss battle? I just assumed that they wanted Pokey in it but didn't want to add the ugly machine from Mother 2.
Yeah, the Pokey/Porky battle. He isn't revealed as the antagonist until like, the very end in Mother 3.
I didn't guess that from playing Brawl, but NOW you spoiled it!
Well, not really, I knew it from the internet, but yeah.
Ain't That a Kick in the Head? - Dean Martin.IVE GOT SPURS THAT AINT THAT A KICK IN THE BIG IRON ON HIS JOHNNY GUITAR

W-what? But don't you live in like the same geographical area as me!?I don't live near the lakes right now... different weather. It snowed half an inch soon after I posted, and now it's raining again.
And I don't get why people automatically think of the city when you say "New York."
Latest Homestuck album, The Felt
I've yet to be impressed by a song.
In fact, what I've heard so far is very monotonous and boring.
Not to mention the fact that it's quite expensive for the sake of a joke.
Opeth - ghost of perditionThey're recording a new album!
Opeth - ghost of perdition
Best Opeth track ever
Haggard - Awaking the Centuries
Some weird thing Tool did that I didn't know about until Cracked (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPzTuPuq53A)That's awesome.
Well... It was at least better than the wailing Christina did to your national anthem. That's because she didn't have Slash (and, admittedly, Usher) to save the day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKR0RJ7E8Bc&feature=relatedWow, that's funny. I ordered the Animals As Leaders album a few days ago, and it just arrived. My timing, eh?

Rocky remixes can be good.
Hobo showed this to me about two days ago (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8EOX9k6430)I'm really susprised Maynard/Tool haven't done more King Crimson covers. They often list King Crimson as one of their biggest inspirations.
It's a total eargasm.
Your taste in music never ceases to impress me.
Takin' a Ride, by Don Felder (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02nAH_oAjeg)
And Archem, that's some creepy ****. Especially if you read the band name as part of the whole situation.Yes. It's totally as it should be.
You have weird taste in music.
But, other than that its been the Prince of Egypt soundtrack.
It was a great film, for many, many reasons.
Me? I'm listening to the soundtrack from "Little Shop of Horrors."
Love love love love love love love love love love love love love. Which version?
That sounds pretty similar to Periphery.Periphery is yummy.
Hey, here's a song by that band I named. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b32gk8gisxA)
Oooo... I have the 1982 Off Broadway Cast version. :)LOVE Ellen Greene as Audrey :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fte2YrMta7gYou bastard! When were you planning on linking this to me?!
Stargasm from Mastodon's new album, The Hunter. It's great.
You bastard! When were you planning on linking this to me?!You were asleep when I discovered it was leaked! Also, get the new Opeth album. It's all sorts of awesome.
On a related note, I've run into some horrible issues involving shitty billing and the limited edition of this album. Trying to get some money refunded, ****ing around with mailing addresses, etc.
Also, get the new Opeth album. It's all sorts of awesome.I've been getting mixed opinions on that; some people say they don't like it. It's certainly very different from their usual stuff...
Nerdy as it is, I'm listening to the Persona 4 soundtrack. Probably cuz an anime of it is coming out soon.
This one is stuck in my head anyway (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPn4B4u5wPg&feature=relmfu)

They make me feel complete!
Hey, those guys are pretty good. Started listening to them last year. Sadly they only have one album. That isn't always a bad thing. I know a band that I loved for their 80s thrash metal sound. Then they made a second album, and it's like a metalcore sound. My point is, they dropped what made them special when album #2 showed up, and I don't think I'll support the change.
Prpl, that comparison has driven me to immediately download the Xenoblad soundtrack.
the enticing chorus of a neighbourhood full of lawnmowers
Pierce The Veil - "King For A Day" ft. Kellin QuinnThis was ALL OVER my newsfeed a few days ago. Hah.
The noise that I just now realised sounds an awful lot like a girl's moaning in a porno.
That might need some more explaination.
I bought Pandoras tower for the wii. Evertime you reset that curse there's a cutscene where the curse is pretty much getting purged from the body. The girl in question makes what I assume should be painful groaning. But once I left the tv and only heard the noise... It got weird.
Don't let her change. She ruins the bracelets and dresses you work so hard to get :(
Edit - Felix, I think that is SwS, not PtV
Don't let her change. She ruins the bracelets and dresses you work so hard to get :(
You always had the look of someone who liked TMBG.
When my little sister first heard dubstep she told me it sounded like "Starscream nailing Megatron".I like your sister.
Which, coincidentally, could possibly be a remix song.
I was just trollin' fruckSorry, I assumed it was one of those terrible dubstep remixes so I didn't listen to it.

Isn't he German though? I always thought he was German. :\
I doubt you guys have managed to avoid this K-pop.Catchiest ****ing song. I'm not ashamed to say I love it.
PSY - GANGNAM STYLE (강남스타일) M/V (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0#ws)
And also, Supernatural can go screw itself.Yeah, pretty much.
I don't think I've ever been in a resturant cool enough to be playing something like that.
We do have censored versions of songs (sometimes entire albums have censored versions), but these are primarily for standard radio play where strong language is not permitted. From what I understand, some places have uncensored radio (perhaps they have a special license?), and satellite radio is typically uncensored, but free air radio is usually censored. Private locations like bars or restaurants use uncensored versions at their own discretion, but locations considered "family friendly" usually censor content. Also, some stores are notorious for only selling censored music (Wal-Mart), and have a lousy reputation with music lovers.
Short answer: Yes, censored music for public consumption is commonplace because of all the demonization of music (and vulgarities in general, I suppose) that occurred over the past few decades in the US.
EDIT:Oh. Thats cool. It auto does it. On otha forums you have to use codes like embed and such.
So, like, did you just have terrible taste in music during your youth or something?Tastes change, basically.
I pretty much still love everything I've ever listened to. Some things have been played to death, sure, but I still enjoy all my favorite bands.
Blockhead - Tricky Turtle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33_YcSWrRjE#)
This is a recent favourite of mine.
Aw yeah boiii
You know which band I like? These fellows.
Redemption - Snowfall on Judgement Day [FULL ALBUM - progressive metal] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLX6dj3JT3s#)
They remind me of Dream Theater a lot. James LaBrie's guest vocals help that out a lot.
Blockhead - It's Raining Clouds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvoQOAWiPow#)
We just finished recording and mixing our first song with the band so that.

I have only the deepest of loathing for you.
Hey, I'd forgotten all about Stephen Lynch. I used to love his stuff.
Oh, so you probably enjoy Ayreon? Most Ayreon albums are sci-fi rock operas, so that seems like a decent fit.I listened to The Theory of Everything some time ago, and another one after you recommended, but I'm not sure yet. The 'rock opera' nature is hammed up so much in that band that it's almost not taking itself seriously enough for me! But I'll try again with another album - I like the idea of albums being set in a world and all that, but having different characters voiced by different singers becomes a bit too musical-y for me.
