Originally posted by DragonBlazeFirst off, fast travel, and markers, wtf. A big part of morrowind was going off and exploring. In obivion, you can warp to and from any city in the game, plus any other place that you have visited. Plus quests mark the exact spot you need to go to, you don't have to do any searching. Example, I accidently became a vampire, and I was looking for a cure, I had to find this lady on some river, I was expecting to search up and down the river for her, but no, there was a big red arrow pointing to where I needed to go.The invisible walls. I thought morrowind was awesome in the aspect that you could litterally go wherever you wanted. In oblivion, you can go anywere in the game at anytime basically, but around cyrodiil, theres the invisible walls preventing you from going anywhere. No levetation magic. I thought levetation magic was sweet. In morrowind, I played as a dragon race, and you could equip this enchantment that would add levetation to your character but drain some stuff like stanima, and you could basically fly (looked really funny if it wasn't in first person view though). Not as many armor/body parts. In morrowind, there were many differant parts to armour, you had the cuirsis, then you had the shoulder peices, the arm peieces, gloves. etc. In oblivion, there are no shoulder peices to customize your armour, you can't where robes or cloaks over armour, the only 'extra' body slot to add stuff like glasses, capes, etc is the tail slot, so if your an argonian you can't wear stuff like that. In morrowind, there was a neck slot that was hardly ever used, and that was used for most of the extra stuff.Beast races look to human. I liked it in morrowind that the beast races had a differant body stlye than human races.Enviornment is too uniform. I don't like it how the wilderness is pretty much the same throughout oblivion. Its pretty much all green and forested. And lastly, there aren't that many mods avalible for onlivion yet when it comes to things like armour and races and landmasses. Though, thats no fault to the game. I was going to try making some of my own races, weapons, armour, and quests, but I guess the software required to edit the nif moddels in oblivion aren't really avaible yet. At least thats what some guy told me on some oblivion forums.

Originally posted by OsmoseI know a few months ago someone had a half-*** way of putting clothes on at the same time as armor, but it was kinda buggy...The levelling system in Vanilla Oblivion sucks. I recommend AF's Levelling Mod.
