recipies/ingredients

hey im starting to do a thing with making recipies. The first idea i had was to talk to an NPC and get a certian recipie when i aquired the necissary ingredients. But just realized theres only one slot for items to do a switch ON.
So an alternative way im thinking is to just automatically make a certian recipie when you get the requirments in your menu. Not sure how to do that either.
Anyone know how i could make this work?

To do that, you can use a little thing called Conditional Branches (Fork Conditions in some translations). Basically, you use multiple branches, one inside another, to check if the hero possesses Item A, Item B, etc. If he does, remove those items with the Change Inventory/Item command, and add another (the result).
Branches are located in the third page of the Event Commands window (that window that pops up when you click <> in an event), on the right side. The Branch window has two pages - go to the second page, and choose Item, choose "Possessed" from the first box, and select the item from the second box. In the first branch, create another branch with the same options, except that the item is the next item required. Do that until you have all of the items checked, and put the result code (remove all of the ingredients and add the result) into the last branch. In the Else Handlers (what it does if the branch's conditions are false) just put a message like "You don't have the right ingredients".
