Error

Whenever I try to change an event's sprite I get an error saying 'Exception C0000006' and it will not let me change my sprite. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I don't know why your recieving that error message, but you could just use imediate switches, couldn't you? Just cut and paste the events onto a new event page, then have a a switch on the first page leading to the second page, and set the sprite on the second page.

oooooh you may have just killed your database! lol! Don't worry it happened to me 4 times. Just copy the all the proper rtp into the project folders (sounds in sounds, bgm in bgm, etc.) and it should be fine when you go to the database again. this error happens when you put new resourses other than rtp into your project folder rather than using the resourse manager.

I may be wrong here becuse your error may be different from mine but I got this one with a database crash once.

Whew thanks it was the DB, and once I got everything in I'm good now.

Yeah. you're welcome! I asked about this one once and zkx flamed me and told me to look for it myself. Note once you get a db crash the best thing to do is get a new rpgmaker. but if you can't this is what works. Heck I have to do this solution everytime I start a new project.
