I hope he'll let me answer this.
Health meters (which I call HUDS) are be made using Pictures. Picture files can be used on the second page of RM2k3 coding. You'll have to figure out how to use them yourself, but if you can code an ABS with X and Y cords, pictures shouldn't be that hard either.
As for animations, you either need to make poses and have the hero's sprite switch to those poses durring the attack, or you need to use a battle animation.

If Hero's HP is 0...i can;t find that the only thing i see in conditional brANch is if Hero's hp is ABOVE....help?
