Charset assistance for editing please

I have a request of possible charset(4x4) (not battlers):

I am creating a RPG using a RPG maker and I would like it to be in a urban setting. I have been writing the script for almost a year and I am almost done and I would like to put some unique characters in the story...
The story is about a young man(not posted) who trying to coup his lost of his battle tutor(the last picture on the link) by the hands of Doom (the second picture) who befriend a duo from the future(first picture on the link below) who warns him that his closest friend (not posted) is the key to saving the world and an evil force (from the future) is after her...Well that is the gist of it...
I've learned how to make charset somewhat but I'm not all the way there


Here's the photo:


The two men in the middle, the one with the green turban is wearing a blue kung fu suit, but with white tennis shoes.

Here's the one I have tried to create with the blue kung fu suit:

I tried to change the suit to a fully blue suit including the white edges being blue with shades,etc and the hair to green so it look like a turban but the suit is fully blue and the turban is totally green with no definition.

Here's his partner:

I was attempted to make the red jacket longer for a male and add long black sleeves and I made the hat white so I can edit it and cut the edges and add navy blue to the brim so it can look like a ball cap and also tried the make the jeans blue denim but the outcome was very bad...

Here's what I got:


I attempted to make the hat brown so I can edit it and shorten up the edges so it can be a small top hat and add the black stripe at the top and I also made an attempt to connect the lab coat so it can be buttoned up and turn it green and add the metal mask of course but the outcome was horrible....


I would appreciate if someone could assist me on these for me please...
