looking for a chipset tutorial

can someone please make a tutorial about chipsets.
im trying to make chipsets but i dont quite understand how
it works and stuff. can some help me find a tutorial on making chipsets
or maybe even teach me like abt it. like where to put animated tiles
and everything.

I made this some years back.
I hope you can see and understand what I mean.
Basically, the things in the upper left are the animated "water" tiles.
The things close to it are the ones that change appearence if they are placed next to each other. Like the water tiles but they are not animated.
Then the have the still tiles. Basically you place a tile, and it stays like that tile. Nothing odd.
Last we have the Upper layer with objects and stuff you place above the actual tiles to decorate.

Actually, when placing the picture event, change "Same Level as Hero" to "Below Hero." That should do the trick.
