Ok, I have Charas the offline version and I have made several original charsets. The problem is when I put them in my game, it shows the square and all, instead of just the character. I mean the square around the character on the charset. It prints it all. How do I get it to just print the character? Please take pity on my newbieness and help me out.

I read in another post that I had to import my charset. I tried this but it said that it wasn't the correct size. How do I make it the right size?

Do you have Idraw3? If you do, load the image your trying to import on to IDraw3. (Note: If a small screen with a whole bunch of colors to choose from doesn't appear, select "View" from the toolbar, then select "Show Pallete".) On the Pallete Screen. Select the very first color box and change it to green(or any other color, if you want.)(If you haven't done so yet... Select "View" from the toolbar again and then select "Show toolbox.") Click on the "Paint Can" in the toolbox. Then click on the First Color in the pallete if not done so. Then just dump then color in then background of your pic or set. Save! Then Import. And the green box(or whatever) should be gone now.
Next the Size. All sizes can be lower then what it listed by NOT Higher.
ChipSets:480x256
Graphic System:160x80
Battle Animations:480x384
FaceSets: 192x192
CharaSets: 288x256
BackDrops: 320x160
Panoramas: 640x480
Titles/Game Over: 320x240
(BIG Note: These are sizes for all RM2K stuff. NOT Rm2k3. Monster Sets and Backdrops Sizes Change on Rm2k3.)
