Everyone whos ever worked with downloaded maps has probly noticed that they all have different colored grass and such and therefore arent compatible. If grass was removed from all chipsets, people could use any chips on any map just by sticking the chip over a predefined grass type on paint. Email me (

I made the first chipset thingy now. It has the max amount of first layer "smartchips", some second layer stuff, and some regular first layer chips. I want to give credit to the following people
The dude who drew the rm2k and rm2k3 rtp which i ripped and edited a bit,
Me for the tall grass chip and the cliffside chips and for the degrassing,
Legacy001 and Omega9999 (i'm not sure who made the chips but they are the rocky lookin mountains and the bright green field thing and the water and the forest)
Whoever made LOZ3 graphics, the flowers are edits of a rip of LttP.
DragonHeartMan for the mountains, I had to edit em quite a bit but they look pretty nice.
I'm gonna call this set "mountains and deserts" cause its got alot a mountain stuff and 3 desert chips (one rm2k3 rtp, one rm2k3 rtp edit, and one rm2k rtp).
And one last little note about the upper chip mountains: They are highly usable in any way you want i'll make a demo map to prove it but be creative with them.

I made a demo of what these chips do, it includes all of em including good uses for DHM's great mountains and the flowers that bob up and down (obviously i can't capture that from a screenshot) and my legal copy of rm2k3. The ocean is a panorama bg, which by the way is a great use of panorama in a world map, grass or ocean, since it can be changed to move or flow or whatever with one simple change parrallex bg event. If your really want i can post my panorama 1600x1600 oceans zipped or something.

Here's my second chipset.
I basically took the first one and replaced all the smartchips so it's similar.
I mostly ripped rm2k & rm2k3 rtp this time, a bit of my own stuff and some LoZ.
Some people have emailed me asking how to use these so i'll say it here.
1. Make a chipset and fill it with grass and snow and water (optional) and whatnot, then copy mountains and deserts over them with a transparent background so that the blue doesn't show through,
2. You're done.
