They are okay though since they are generated, they are nothing special. So anyone could make one. You got to be original, like me. lol.

Get a decent graphic editor.
Idraw
is very good and very easy to use. Charamaker 1999 is a total piece of crap imho.
Of course, if you can (i.e. $$) then get something even better like Paint shop Pro, Photoshop, Corel 12, or Gimp (which is free).
Spriting is not easy, and it takes a lot of practice and dedication to learn and to be consistant. A good way to start is by getting a body template (you should find some in the 'Complete resources section"), or just save a plain body character made in the generator, then use that in your graphic editing program of choice, to work from.
There isn't a point to asking for comments on generated chars, because potentially anyone can make the same thing with the generator.
Lastly,
NEVER ASK FOR CREDIT WITH GENERATED CHARS
. You have no right whatsoever to demand credit from anyone for generated chars, and you deserve no recognition for making them with the generator, that is just plain stupid.
You did not make those characters, you just clicked a few buttons and the charas generator made them for you. If anyone deserves credit, it's Alex for creating and providing the online generator, and to the artists who draw original pieces to go with it. Infact, you couldn't even align the sets properly on a usable character set format, which makes this even moreso lame.

i geus asking for credit is not right, but i didnt use a character sheet, i made each person on the generator and then went to paint and just put them on a blank sheet, but i should have checked and made sure they were even.
Also thanks for the advise on where to to sprites, i have,i think, paint shop pro already

I made a fortune in toothpicks, but I lost it all in a fire.

Hmm... I make all mine with MS Paint, so that's about all I can say on this. But at least they still come out good... err... ok... I think. Here's something to go by as an example of the horrors of Paint. Please don't cry. And yes, these are old and clearly Half-Life characters. I never did get around to shading them... But see? Better things can be done if you're careful.

Yeah, MSPaint can be used to make cool sprites given the patience and right steady hand.

MSPaint is what I use, I'm jsut too lazy t search for a "better" paint program, especially since MSPaint is just as effectective and provides(pretty much)the same results.
