So I am happy to say that I have very little let downs.Apathy is the best policy.Would be, if it was possible. It is unearthly to never have an expectation about anything. What, you´re gonna tell me that in New Year you simply think nothing about what´s to come? When you receive a secret note from a girl you heartbeat doesn´t get faster? When you buy a new game you don´t get excited??If you can keep that up (which I say again, is impossible), congrats, you´ve initiated the robots era.
Either you're extremely egotistical, or you have no friends, no parents, and you live by yourself in a dark cave. You have expectations of everything. They may not be high, but you always have expectations.
...I PERSONALLY think you're just saying that because eithera) you think it makes you look coolb) you want to be original so you try and stray from the rest.

They may not be high, but you always have expectations. Lol, I'm just open minded. I don't get all worked up over anything like "OMG I hope the ps3 is going to be so awesome!!!" I guess saying I have no expectations is the wrong thing to say, after all, I do expect things to happen all the time. Like I expect that I'm going to have a soda tonight, and I expect it to get dark during the night. And for game, I have high expectations for them, not high hope, but high expectations, after all, the two are completely seperate. Like my expectations for rm2k3 games are at a level that I'll only play ones that meet my standards, if they don't, I won't play them. Having high hopes for a game would be I'm hoping a game is good, but it may turn out otherwise. And lets say a game wouldn't live up to my expectations, I wouldn't get upset or let down by it, because theres no point in it.A big part in my personality is that I never do anything that I consider pointless. If i get homework on material that I thoroughly don't understand, I don't do it because I consider it pointless. And since I always ace tests and quizes, it won't affect my grades at all. That being said, I think having high hopes for something is pointless, I think feeling upset or sad about something such as a game not living up to your expectations is pointless. It doesn't accomplish anything.Like I stated ealier, if something isn't up to my expectations, I won't get down, but that doesn't mean I won't get 'happy' or 'exited' if they're above my expectations. So you're right, i do have expectations, but I don't 'hope' that something will be good or bad. I am completely open minded about that kind of thing. Its not that I'm living in a whole, I don't have friends, or I don't have parents, because thats far from the truth. The thing is, I am open minded about most things. Now if its something big like a job or whatnot, then yeah, if I don't get the job I wanted, I'd probably get down if I didn't get it. For most things though such as games, movies, events, etc, open minded all the way.
