Instead of using variables to store the pokemon (you would need around 3000 just to store 150 pokemon data) you could use heros and classes. Make 151 heros (1 for ash or whoever you have and 150 for pokemon), make a class for each evolution stage of each pokemon. When you catch/get a pokemon, check to see which heros have been added to your party yet, add the first one that hasn't been added yet. Change its name to the pokemon name, change its level to the level, and set its class to the pokemon and evelution stage. Then, whenever you want to get stats for that pokemon, you just look up the stats for that hero.
