Yay, another member

A couple of you may have seen that I've already posted in the Requests thread (sorry about not coming here first, I just wanted to get that request in ASAP).

ANYWAY,

Yeah, I'm Scorpalix (as the user-name states). I'm 18, from England. I've been using RPG Maker occasionally for the last couple of years or so. Unfortunately, due to a huge amount of schoolwork and the fact that my laptop seems to enjoy killing itself (although that could be my fault for mistreating it), I've never actually been able to get far enough into a game to actually produce a demo or get anywhere with it, so I end up starting all over from scratch again. This time, I plan to actually get far enough with it. I have some basic ideas for the game, although I may ask around the site whether anyone thinks that the storyline could be taken further.

Things about myself... I wouldn't say that I'm a fan of anime, the only one that I particularly like (well, more like love), would be Naruto (I watch the Japanese subbed version rather than the American one - much better). I like sports, big fan of soccer and football (surprisingly, we have football teams in England - I belong to one). I'm a huge fan of RPGs, otherwise I wouldn't be here. The obvious one would be the Final Fantasy series, although I've also played Kingdom Hearts and Shadow Hearts as well. I'm also a sports game freak (don't shoot me).

As for role-playing itself, I've been text rp'ing for about 3 years now, mainly the traditional medieval fantasy style RPG, although I have crossed into modern occasionally. I've participated in battle text rpgs, which I have a prolific record (not that anyone cares). I've been around the block a bit.

So... yeah, that's me in a nutshell. Look forward to getting to know some of you better. Yay!
