Could someone please help me?

Well, I finnally decided to get started on my serious project and wanted to make my cbs, cms, etc. first. Well I started on my cms and have almost all the basic layout of it done. It works fine, doesn't lag or anything just, i made a common event with the enterpasswords etc. the codes pretty much, so when you press the cancel or menu button it would go to my cms, but i made it so it memorizes the place you last was so you can get back to the same spot. Well if you press cancel again it send you to the main part of the menu system and memorizes the menu!!!! So you're stuck there.  I tried using stop parrelel event, making it a call event, trying to cancel it out but nothing seems to work. Now Im not too experianced wih rpgmaker i've been using it for probably 5 months now and i understand the gist of variables and forks but i geuss not enough to solve this problem. Well I probably didnt make that much sense but if you think you can fix it for me send me a pm or just notify me somehow and I'll send you it.

*note*dont worry its not big, I didnt do anything except part of my cms system, its like 2 mb thats it.

If someone could help me I would definetely apreciate it and definitely add you to the credits for helping me.

I recall hearing this problem before.

Make sure you memorize the hero's position before you teleport. After the password/Key Input command, memorize the hero's position, wait for .1 seconds, then teleport the hero.

And BTW, this probably should be in the RPG Maker 2K forum, not PHP.

Yeah I did do that warxe its not the fact it wont work. Its just that when your at the menu if you press the menu button again it memorizes the menu as the area instead of exiting so you can't get out of it. Im using a common event to do it andn I tried switching it to other kinds but when you enter the menu its all black. I can't reallly explain it to well so If there is anybody who thinks they can probably help me out with it I want to send them my cms so they can try to fix it.

I see. Then you need to use a switch to determine what your menu button does.

So, at the end of your menu code, turn a switch on. Make a new page, and code it so the menu button brings you back to the map. Or use a fork/branch that checks if the switch is on or off and performs the correct action.

Thanx Warxe, I just found a way to fix it, but your way seems to be quicker to do and doesnt have as much copying and pasting as mine so yeah, I'll try that out and if it doesnt work I'll still put you in credits because that info's gonna still help me on other stuff thnx!
