Problems saving.

I know there's a topic about this already, but no one really gives a straight answer. Also, I would post in that topic, but it's been locked.

When I make a character set in the online generator, I just get a blank picture. My characters aren't there. I've tried changing the filename to just png, and even changing it to bmp. None of those work. I've tried all of the ideas that are in the previous topic, but none of them work.

Now, does anyone actually have a straight answer on this, or do I just have to "keep trying"? If it's the latter, then that's pretty tedious.
