I always been wondering if anyone else on charas has been tuning in to WWE Smackdown every Thursday like I have. If you have post your opinion about whats been going on.

Like, I think it sucks that JBL is STILL the Champ.

I used to but then I realized how lame it was.....It's guys in speedo's grabing each other 0_o

The second it turned from WWF to WWE it became a soap opera for men. The fights are pre-determined, the extra-corricular activities are rehearsed, the entire thing makes a mockery of real wrestleing. (Which I hate). Even before the switch. When I was little, I'd watch WWF Raw is War every monday night religiously. Notice how Kane used a voice box? Then, when X-Pac made him speak, he struggled, but got it out? Now he speaks with fluency that only a lifetime of speaking brings. Fake. I even saw an interview with Vince McMan, who claimed the whole thing with his family and him sending his wife to the mental institute thing was staged. And now they dont even try to hide that the punches thrown are fake. They throw a fist in the general direction of the opponent, stopm the ground really hard with their foot, and the other guy sends his head flying back, even if you can celarly see that the fist didnt make contact. It's full of lies, and untalented actors. Think about it. EVERYONE on WWE is an actor. They're all rich and famous. You dont just get on WWE by being a good athlete. You have to be capable of 1) Acting and 2)Lying to your fans, who are stooped in ignorance, and in turn, worship you ignorantly. It's nothing more than a soap opera.

...and a soap opera is entertainment...WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. Everyone with a slight part of intelligence know that they are following a script and that the wrestlers are actually stunmans of a sort.

Sure it's all fake, like you said, but it's still a dangerous business and you risk being injured if you mess up a 'Moonsault' from the top rope.

I watch Raw because I don't have UPN  for Smackdown! but I can honestly say that JBL stinks and John Cena will kick his butt at WrestleMania. I prefer the good 'ol beer-drinking, poker-playing Bradshaw...WWE did a great job putting him under the spotlight but they didn't have to make him an egomaniac -.-

I used to watch all the WWF shows, and it's true, when it switched to WWE and when the corporation split into two, that made everything worse. I used to like X pac, Stone Cold Steve Austin, HHH, and Jericho.

Wrestling ain't wrestling anymore, like AH said, it sucks now.
I also used to watch in the old days, and those were the days. Every punch was real, every kick hurted and every chair to the back and neck was a solid chair. Today it's all fake. I'll inly watch it again if it becomes real again.

All I have is my Undertaker shirt, thats about 3 sizes too small now...

I was little, and it was hard to stay up, and I'd have school in the morning, but I'd still sit up for 3 hours of Raw. Watching Stone Cold, Undertaker, Mankind, DX, Shawn Michaels (he was my favorite), then eventually Kane. I still remember the New Age Outlaws.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. Degeneration-X proudly brings to you, the tag team champions of the world. The Road Dog Jesse James, the Bad As* Billy Gun, the New Age Outlaws!!"

*sigh*

And I hated the rock. Always have, always will. I remeber HBK making the monitor thingy say "Rocky Sucks" on it. THat was funny...

The Rock still sucks because he basically doesn't wrestle anymore...every Hollywood producers want him for a movie...

New Age Outlaw moved to TNA/NWA so I get to see them wrestle! Woohoo!

The Undertaker's career is ending soon...if he loses to Randy Orton at Wrestlemania, he will most likely quit. Mankind is part of the WWE Events Team now and he doesn't wrestle anymore...sad.

Most of the 'old' guys have gone to TNA/NWA. Conan, Road Dogg, Mr.@$$, DDP, Jeff Hardy and many more. If TNA/NWA was playing on more TV channels, it could stomp WWE...like I said...COULD stomp WEE flat.

The only I think I disagree is that The Rock doesn't suck.. as a wrestler yes but i like him in hollywood. He may not act the best, but he's funny.

I still stand by the statement that wrestling is fixed, not fake, but on to other details now.  I personally don't watch wrestling very often anymore as I find it to be way to predictable, but I still catch the occational show and PPV here and there.  I like Raw much better then Smackdown simply because it has better talent.  As far as JBL still being the champ, I think it's a good thing he is as it laid aside any skepticism I had over the descition to put him in contention the heavywieght title picture to begin with.  Now, simply because he's retained it for as long as he has, he's gained my respect as the champion.  All that being said, I also miss the "good ole days" of wrestling when they still were able to "pull a swerve" on us every so often.
