Endsville is my upcoming project and a very ambitious one; I have had the idea for years, but have recently decided to convert it into an RMXP game.
I am setting out to create a whole new world, in a sense. The game takes place hundreds of years in the future, where man has used up most of its resources and the world has gone into a decline. Nuclear wars have scarred the planet and reality's very fabric has become unstable, allowing monsters and demons to creep in and make their nests in the ruins of what was once great cities. Humans live in perpetual fear from many different angles, and mutations are rife.
As for the storyline, Most of it is being kept under wraps so as not to spoil any surprises; there are a large number of twists and turns. What I can tell you is that you play the role of a demon slayer called Rip, who's past is something of a mystery. He gets hired as a bodyguard by a young witch named Hawthorn who is being pursued by assassins seeking the spellbook she carries and they meet a girl who is flung several hundred years into the future after some questionable experiments on her brain involving a mixture of magick and technology. Things begin to take a drastic spiral downwards from there and evil takes a new name, but can it be stopped without an irrideemable cost?
Hell is coming to Earth.... give it the welcome it deserves.
I am a spriter myself so I am making all of the resources personally; I am going to have an original soundtrack and I also have a concept artist to help me (thanks Rep, you're the man) so I just need help with the scripting....I need someone to help with an action time battle similiar to Zelda. If you think you can help, please add me to msn using my email address (which can also be found on some of my work in the resources section, although these aren't the resources for Endsville - I plan to take them to a whole new level) and I'll tell you more.
If you want to check out the graphics style, look at my attachment of the main character Rip, its 100% original made by me from the hair down to the boots
(I haven't included the full character set, thats exclusive to my game. The character and its use are protected and using it without my concent is a breach of copyright). If you can help, please contact me and stay tuned, I'll have more when I finally get my website up and running. Hope to hear from you,

The game itself sounds good, but there's one thing I dislike - the whole "monsters and demons on Earth" thing. I mean, it doesn't make any sense to have real monsters and real demons on Earth. Maybe mutated animals, but not full-blown monsters. I'm not saying you should change it, but it's just something I'm concerned about.

Yes, I like it. The story seems much more thought out than most games posted here.

It's... eh.
And can understand monsters, but why angels? Are they an actual threat, or does the fear come from legends, because if so, man would have naturally abandoned their religious beliefs as time progresses. Also, I think hundereds of years is too soon. Maybe at least a thousand.

AKA Desimodontidae. If you're seeing this profile, Im probably at school.
If i were a clown, would you hold me when I'm down?/I wish I had someone to make me drown/So many people don't know that it's so damn hard to be a clown/I am the clown with the giant frown/My heart is in a state of being upside down...

Angels? no angels involved. Im deliberately staying away from the creation myth, its best to let people decide that part for themselves.
As for the time period, Its in the high hundreds, so it is quite distant. I chose the hundreds mark 'cause realitically, if everyone went gung-ho and started using up the world's resources like madmen, they would get through it pretty quickly.
