hmmm... yeah, I got in almost MAJOR trouble in school a while ago 4 a "racist" remark.

When in fact i was just talkin 2 one of my my Black friends :S

really, that "N" word is never used as an insult anymore around here, If anyone says it, its them bein' friendly....

I'm sure everyone calls some of thier friends their "Niggaz"

I'm in no way racist. I'm always as carefull as I can be to not offend anyone in that sense. I allways stick with African-american for safty measures.

Racism is something that has taken a particular interest at football soccer. I don't know if any of ya heard about the argentinian defender Desábato who called "negro de m..." (It means  "******" with another word which gives real form to the insult, which is "$hit") to Grafite, a brazilian forward.
In another issue, some nazi flags appeared at a match between Talleres de Córdoba and Gimnasia de Jujuy last Thursday in a Second Division match, and at a Second Division match at Spain, an argentinian goalkeeper called Juan Carlos Olave, is insulted by the fanatics of the club he's playing at, the Real Murcia, they call him "argentino muerto de hambre" ("starving argetinian") and "sudaca de m..." (don't know how to spell sudaca, but it is an offensive way to call southamericans like myself). As you see, racism is becoming quite "popular" this days.

racism only exists because of those moronic people who can't accept something a simple as envromental adpetation (or simply the human body adpeting to new envroments).

Actually every single human is a race. The Human Race. The race is divided into ethnicities, such as Orientals, African-Americans, Hispanics, etc. So, the term racist can't really apply unless we hate an alien race from outerspace.

It doesn't work like that where I live. I've called someone black and they said they were african-american. I called someone else african-american and they said I'm not african american, I'm black, so you never know.

Alot of u have said some pretty rediculous things in this topic. The reason that alot of people are quick to call somebody racist is because they have dealt with racism so much that if they notice somebody acting in a way the racist person acted they assume the same.

Being black i kno how that feels. ive dealt with it plenty of times and ive also called people on it even tho some denied it.

For the person who said that they dont understand why a black person can call another black person a nigga but a white person would get a different reaction is because that person probably doesnt belong to your group of people. You neva know who can be racist so ur just on your guard alot.

And nigga and ****** ARE different. nigga is a word that people use in a more friendly way, while ****** was the term givin to black people by caucasions.

At the moment where I come from we have a few probs: A major Asian gang who hates white + blacks. Then u another gang, who hate them and are a mix of races who hate Asians. They both use weapons. THEN u have white power gnags, goths, skin heads etc who all fight each other and the asian etc gangs with weapons. It ain't good.

I also have a few m8s who are racists cos they have been called racists all the time. its hard to cope cos I feel very uncomfortable.

maybe where ur from that happen but in my experience black people who are openly racist are also looked down on.

but there are exceptions. jus like u said that whole ****** thing earlier, black people can get away with saying something racist once in a while.

ugh i despise political correctness. people shoud just get over it, stop worying about that and be efficent. but if it goes one way, but not the other, I'm angry. they cant call someone a "black" person on the news, yet the call people white. either make it black or white, or african-american and caucasian.

I heard in one place you cant call white and blackboards by their name because its "racist." If i have a conversation with someone, if I say that person is black as if explaining someone i am called racist whereas i am just saying that he is so they have a better idea of what he looks like.
