Your Favourite Monster...?

Just wondering, what's your favourite videogame monster or species? Just to see what the most popular species is...

For me it's Lizardmen. Being bright green and having several hundred attacks that begin with the word "Lizard" (Lizard Kick, Lizard Tongue, Lizard Sword, Lizard Heal, Lizard Beam, etc.) in them are pretty appealing to me.

My favorite monsters are human/oids. Because of the way games are usually designed, the human/oids tend to be more varied and original than the monsters, and they're usually smarter than average monsters as well, making them more of a challenge to fight.

I like the original monsters, like the Flying Squirrels in Suikoden.

My favorite monsterrs would basically be the same as blackskullwarlock's choice, demons. Demons can be anything from a imp to a gigantic balrog, which is a big differance. Also demons are usually the cunning ones, not the idiotic "kill puny humans" type. My second fav. would be Werewolves, because.....I like them.
Edit: @ Saikar: Im my old game with RM2K I made that girl an Uber-Strong monster who morphed into Satan when defeated....yeah weird but I felt like it .

Nah. Whenever I need to test a new battle animation, I use that as the monster in the background to make sure it is centered and stuff.

In any case, I just remembered my old RM2K game, which had a badly resized, grayscale version of my head, which was called Evil Mr. Rogers. Best boss ever.

Chocobos? Why would you want to fight and kill chocobos? That's animal cruelty, man.

I hate chocobos!!! You can't kill them and they always have an uber attack tucked up their sleeves.

My favorite monster is the dragon, dragons are just cool, and they can be greatly varied as well. The only thing I don't like about fighting dragons is the fact that you have to kill them , which is why I'm adding an ally system to my battle system so instead of killing a monster you can ally with it and gain items and abilites

Oh, and... Goblins! They're good. Almost as good as Lizardmen. But not quite.

I like those hard-to-kill-but-give-godly-amounts-of-exp monsters. Like the Metal Slime in the Dragon Warrior games, or the colored birds in Legend of Dragoon.
