The Charas Adventure

Well I was browsing the forums, and noticed that many of these fail.

Well it's time to put an end to it...


 It was a world vast in history and adventure. A World ripe with magic and spirits fowl and kind alike. It was, unfortunately, a World being choked to death by war...

 Empire's fought for the seat of power in this world, their armies gigantic and their lands were incredibly vast, that it would reach the horizon and great the warm sun with open arms...

 Records of yonder year speak of beings with such power corsing through their veins, that they could rival the gods...

 The Power could rip the skies asunder, cause the earth to cry out in agony and crumble onto itself...

 It could anger the mountains, make the ocean's froth with fury and plunge the world into a hellish nightmare of chaos and fear...

 Yet somehow, the world still exists, these beings did not wish to use their powers for evil...

 What happened to the People of the Power and the Power itself is unknown...

 But none-the-less, the Empires still search for it...

 Even if it means the death of the World...

I need around 20 other characters to be hero's, and around 9 for villans...


Ok, now onto the features...

Hack 'N' Slash Battle system; run around the map strafing and slashing the hell out of some decent enemies

Tactical Game Play; Fight alongside and comand 9 heroes at a time and more depending on where you are, sending them to attack certain targets and defend others.
Rock Sissor Paper style tree effects,

Ranged defeats Magic,

Magic Defeats Close Range,

Close Range defeats Ranged.

Volcano>Tsunami>Storm>Earthquake

If you hit an enemy with an afflicting element, you will do a certain % more damage to it, and vice-versa...

Charas Engine; One of the highlights that's going to be in the game...
At first you use this to create your main character, then later on you can create heroe's for your squad on this (not including story characters)

I got some sprites done for it, but there of Final Fantasy Legend (GB) Style. Not good for now days, so I may need an alternative style if it doesn't suite people's tastes.

If you are willing to send me an alternative sprite sheet, it's going to need attack animations for up down left right and the left-right ones must NOT BE MIRRORED FOR ATTACKING!

I'll also need a fairly decent tutorial or coder to help me make the battle system and the other nice bits in the game...

I also would like some original music in the game, but not midi, if people can cook up some midi music, I'll try to pention some people who have instruments to remix them and record them into an MP3 type file...

Finaly, I'll need some people to suggest some characters for this...

 - Unholy Word: X% chance to insta-kill a foe

Draknitis Katana: His primary weapon, it's a cursed orange-bronze katana that absorbs the souls of its victims.

-Quadraslash: Four consecutive slashes.
-Shatterstrike: A thrusting attack that breaks some defenses.
-EXslice (not a typo): A mighty slash that may kill enemies in one hit.
-Backslash: Teleports behind the enemy and slashes it.
-Shadowbrand: Wraps the active weapon in shadow energy, and throws it at the target.
-Chaosburst: A chaotic mass of dark energy strikes multiple targets.
-Neutron Star: A powerful energy bomb attack.
-Shadow Flare: Strikes the enemy with myriad shadow-charged flames.
-Within: Focuses the power of all allies into a single beam attack.
-Float: Levitates the target, nullifying earth damage.
-Draknitis Aura: Envelops self in a dark aura which nullifies Light-based damage.
