Lupine loks to Gem, "please Gem, do not be on edge because of I, please learn that I am not your enemy.  I digress, thou must understand, I was merely a victim of situation, a possible liability,"  Lupine takes in a deep breath, causing him to growl and grip his ribs in pain.  The gold tint to his fur fades and he falls to one knee, "damn that man, feels like my ribs are broken."

Jenna begins to emmite a errie green light, her face grows pale, and her her body seems weakened.

Jenna: "I shall return in a second."

She gets up and slowly walks into a nearby forest and rests against a tree. Trying to hide her other side, she allows her body into status sleep to avoid detection and releasing her true being that cursed her at birth.

Jenna: "I cant let them find out, I would be out casted....Or worse."

To the untrained eye she looks as if she is resting against a tree peacefully.

"Hmmm..." Kite pondered the moment looking about. "Maybe it is about time we retired." he says this while beginning to scratch behind his right ear*

Lupine slowly rises, "aye, let us find a warm plae to rest." he rubs his left side gingerly, the pain was beginning to fade yet it still felt like a stab each time he took a breath.

"I think I could be able to persuade one to get us some nice rooms, afterall, I am a high ranking official in these parts." He looks around and spots an inn and goes to it and meets with the manager "Would you be so kind as to offer a few of thou's finest rooms?" he says this in a casual tone.

Inn Keeper: "Ah Sir Kite, would you like to stay in one of our specials?
I even cut the price a little since you helped my Boy Tyler get into the royal guards. How is 50 Gold Pieces, and the Special has room for up to 6 people, with free dinner and breakfast. What do you say?"

Kite chuckled "Ah, so he is your son huh? Lets see, as you know I only carry a few spare gold pieces, just in case I get robbed." Kite reaches into his pockets and manages to pull out a few golden coins, around 10. "Hmmmm..." He looks back to the others "Think thou could spare forty more if it it isn't too much trouble?"

Jenna appeared behind Kite and the others without them noticing.

Jenna: "I have 40 Gold Pieces right here."

She hands the 40 Gold pieces to the Inn Keeper and takes the room key. As she begins to walk towards the stairs leading to the deluxe room, she turned to face everyone.

Jenna: "Shall we go take a look at our room?"

They walk upstairs and down a long hall way to room 113. She opened the door to reveal a huge room with 2 bathrooms and 6 beds arranged ever so neatly, without making the room look crowded.

Jenna quickly picked a bed against the wall to the far right corner and climg under the covers and quickly reverted to rest mode.

Kite takes a moment to look around the room, then he switches his attention by sniffing his arm with disgust "I best wash up before I take my rest..." Kite goes into one of the bathrooms, likely to wash and slip into clean clothes.

Verde walks on silently, occasionally tripping over a hidden tree root or half-buried rock. After about ten minutes of marching, the path begins to become rough and difficult. "What's going on", mutters Verde. "Where are we?". John shakes his head. "I'm only following the tracks. Without a map and compass, that's all I can do". Verde rolls his eyes and carries on walking.

A harsh growl comes from the right. Verde spins on his heel and flicks a beam across the trees, casting eerie shadows about the path. Nothing. A bird cries from the canopy of dead trees. The breeze seems to whisper in strange verses. John comes to a halt. "The tracks go down there", he whispers, pointing ahead.

The track dives steeply down into a large-mouthed tunnel. The entrance is decorated with carvings into the brown stone, and two skulls on pikes are placed either side of it. Rise whimpers again. "It's alright, Rise. We're not going in there". He looks around at John, who nods solemnly. "If you want to find out what attacked him and ransacked the camp, and find the others, then we'll have to".

Quietly, Verde nods, and the group descend into the eerie tunnel.

(OOC: This isn't Bald Man's Goat, nor does anybody... but you... care, so shut it :p. Anyways talking kobolds are funner because they would have a high pitch funky voice that makes you go "AGHHH!!! IT'S LIKE SOMBODY IS SCRATCHING THE BLACKBOARD OF MY MIND!!!". Why suddenly so grumpy? And for sombody who's so acclaimably random why did you question that? O.o... but seriously we shouldn't even TRY to argue or somthing so senseless, this is for fun for goodness sake -_-')

I have nothing to add at this point so I'll leave it to the others.
