The Genian Conflict. Status

So how does the title apply to the game.  Its been bothering me for a while.  Gemini is third zodiac constellation represent the twins Castor and Pollux, i think thats the right names.  W/e i would like to know how this name ties into the game.

Anyway im having problems with the summoner shes pissing me off.  Taking alot longer to decide her battle poses.  I got some of them done.

To explain this, I have to drop some storyline...

Okay....WORLD HISTORY.....en

From Beginning of Recorded history..

-Unrecorded times....Nothing is known about this time, Except that The only Race of Uprights to walk the earth were the Humans....One theory of Creation, Is that in their civilization's Height, Humans Gave Birth to The Major Races, With a New, and Unstable form of Magic, Now Buried away, to save the world from its uncontrollable power....but in the earliest Stages of its discovery, the Humans Used the Magic to Create The  Other  "Uprights"....The Dwarves....for Intense Labour, bred for Endurance, stamina, And constitution, And Elven.....Bred for Superior Communication skills and sensory perception.....

All that is Known After this point, Is that the World Grew unstable....The "Alpha" or "First"  Magic started having Random Effects....Creating a species of its own, The Genians, before Throwing the weather systems and Continents Out of Whack....And Inciting A great Racial War....At various times throughout this War, The Major Upright Species Fought among Eachother, But the General Fear of the Alpha Magic, Meant the focus of all the Races Wraith Was the Genians.....

Then, After 1000 years of War, The Racial Council Set up, as a Means Of monitoring, and Upholding the Rights of All species....

The Racial Councils First Objective, Was to Seal Away the Alpha leA horrible Mutation, Constructed of Something Refered to As "The Gemini Strain" A freak Cellular Mutation, That is  Damn Near, But not Quite Perfect, as it was unstable, albeit indestructable.....

So The Alpha Magic, Along with the Gemini Strain, Was sealed, since destruction was impossible.....

When  Gemini Sealed, The races Divided the Types of Magic, Now Bred Into Every species, Some more than others, Into A  Class system, And it was decided that Every Magic Class Were do Be governed, and the Guilds Were Created......

Over time, The Racial Council, Led the world Into peace....And led the Memory of Th gemini Strain, and Alpha Magic into fable....The devices used to seal the Magic, Were Eventually forgotten about, and the public simply recognized them as the rememnant Relics of Societies Long Forgotten....

With the Establishment of the Guilds, And the Prevalent Supervision of the Racial Council, the world is kept in order....Peace........


1200 years later the story begins....The world, Is now Completly Mapped, Accurately......Ancient Technologies, unearhted are Deciphered, and Machines, Robotics And other benifits to society are taken for granted....

Trade is Frequent, But despite the advancement, The racial Council is Left behind, in the Worlds Advancement......

The Classes are now Fragmented....Individual Bands of  Adventurers, Known as Guilds Scatter the Land, Looking For Adventure, But usually only finding Manual Labour.....

The world is Generally Peacefull, allthough slightly restless..






And then,  Strange Crap Unfolds, some say it is the Awakening of Gemini.....(Who is Actually Two Creatures) But None Give any real credit to this theory......

A moarchy of the Biggest Human Empire, is thrown into shady dealings....The King is Inferile....Must have an Heir.....

He Cuts a deal with a super sketchy Wizard, That Makes Him fertile.........at an Undisclosed price....not mentioned....

The King Has twins......One Heir to the Throne, David, And Another Mathue (Who goes missing on an Expidition as a Teen, Never to Return)

This is Where the Game starts

After all kinds of mysterious Events, The king is Usurped, Before David Can take the Throne....The Monarch is in Chaos......And Prince David is presumed Dead.....Duro, An Entertainer of the Origional King, Takes the throne, and Screws Everything up as Bad as He can.....And when the public is Eager for a new leader, Mathue, The Prince, Mysteriously Returns from the dead....With a New advisor, the Sketchy Wizard from Before....Named Tahl-Hinas.....


Shenanigans Ensue, The Sepian Knights, Our Heroes, End up finding themselves smack in the middle of this Mess...trying to Figure out the mystery binding all of the seemingly unrealted events, and In the end, Preventing Gemini From unleashing Alpha,
and finding a way to stop this threat, Once and for all

Hmm i would have never expected this game to be a war story.  But w/e.  You didnt really have to explain it like that you could have said something alot less complex.  

Anyway  heres the first set complete. Now to test it on rpg maker.

Crap i just emailed it to you and i just found a few things wrong with a few sets. lol. Dmnit.

The thief is all good.  But some of the warriors alignment is off.  And the summoners magic stance 3rd has one pixel too far to the left, the pink one at the very left needs to be deleted.  Im not sure but the summoners victory pose might need to be looked at also.

So....Some Updates, On various Crap regarding this project.

Wedge, The Tonberry-like Black Mage, Is now Vagren, the Chronomancer

Biggs, the Whitemage, Is now Lionel, The gunner-Mage

Instead of "Cid Garland" Being the Sepian Knight's Communications Officer, garrisoned, his name is "Troy Hoen" and Im changing his character traits slightly....Not that ive gotten into him....but I guess Ill give some words...


Troy Hoen is an Old dude....He used to be an adventurer...really sucessfull one....He now runs the show for the Sepian Knights, as the Communications Officer at the Groups Headquarters....Hes a bit Crazy, and Rambles off about his prime alot....Hes bitter.
He is like Uncle Ricco from napoleon dynamite, meets the Coach from Dodgeball....but put into a Horribly dramatic setting....He is going to provide alot of the Humor....He takes himself VERY seriously, but really hes just a washed up old dude, trying to relive his glory days....
He has a Big moustache.
He has no Legs....and rambles on alot about finding that "Bitch Wyvern queen that robbed him of his legs...." He ends up sending the group on a Big Chase, and lying about it....often lying about mission objectives, to pursue a Hunch on the "Bitch wyvern queen"
Later on, He designs the first Non-Military, Transport Airship and Pilots it around.

I actually think you should keep this a Final Fantasy.

You are the Only person that has said that......I thought It would work well, Myself...but either way.....

Perhaps Ill release a Final Fantasy Edition after the Game is Made, and see wich one goes over better....

I should put a Special Features Option in the title....Have a FF edition...Special Edition, With Commentary....Cencored....It will be like a overproduced DVD....

Or perhaps Not......

of course I get FF support AFTER making the change.....Either way.....Its still pretty much going to run the same as a FF game would....And If I still feel the need, Ill make a Fangame after this one is done.....After all, this is my first serious project....I plan on seeing this one through untill the very bugless end...

The tonberry is a final Fantasy Creation right? I mean, Its got no prior story does it? Does it appear in any other fantasy titles? If it does...Im all over it....

They wernt really same things though.  Besides that was also a game made by squaresoft.

Btw what do u mean by play like a "final fantasy."  How does a game play like final fantasy?  none of the more recent final fantasys play the same.  Besides half of the FF dont even have class choosing & changing.

Wait you changed the black mage to a time mage?  Theres a big difference between those 2 you do know that right.

Dmn all the battle sets you need are gonna take hella long.  I did 3 in about 2-3 weeks.  Omg lol. And you need like 36 battle sets in all.  its gonna take like almost 4-5 months to make em all.  Lol.
